Turner breaks ground on $2B Ohio data center

Turner Construction has broken ground on a 1.5 million-square-foot data center campus in New Albany, Ohio valued at $2 billion. The project, which is being undertaken on behalf of Vantage, an IT services provider, will consume 192 megawatts of electricity to support cloud technologies and AI in the Ohio region.

The project is seeking LEED silver accreditation and is a part of the company’s sustainability goals, which include achieving net zero operational carbon emissions by 2030. The first building on the campus is slated to be complete next year.
