Disney Getting More Magical

Disney’s Magic Kingdom is expanding! The details of the investments were finally announced by Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D Amaro at the D23 Expo and include new attractions at its theme parks in Orlando. Florida and Anaheim, California over the next decade, including a new villain’s land in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando which will be part of the largest-ever expansion to the park.

Earlier this year, the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District provided approval for $17 billion more worth of parks across 17,000 acres of land owned by the company over a 15-year period, but more than refurbishing the lands. there will be entirely new worlds taking shape.

The new villain exhibit will feature two new attractions, dining, and shopping options, but there is little known about what these features will look like. Other changes will include the reimagining of sections of Frontierland to a wilderness-inspired area based on the movie Cars, which will include one off-road rally race and a family-oriented attraction for younger visitors.

Orlando’s Animal Kingdom will also be getting a new land, Tropical Americas, which is anticipated to open in 2027 and will feature a fictional village in a rainforest setting. Pueblo Esperanza. There will also be a new attraction based on indiana Jones that will take visitors to a Mayan temple and will feature a new ride-through attraction inspired by the movie Encanto.

Hollywood Studios in Orlando will also add a Monsters, Inc. land, will include a tour of the Laugh Factory, and will feature Disney’s first-ever suspended coaster.

In Anaheim’s Disneyland, the Avengers Campus, which is part of the Disney California Adventure Land, will double its current size. bringing more characters. rides, and attractions from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the visitor experience, including two new Marvel-themed attractions as well as an Avatar attraction.
